Music in Motion is sponsoring Butterfly Awards in memory of the 15,000 children who were imprisoned in Terezin, whose spirits were kept alive by music, art and poetry. See The Journey of Butterfly (#3997), The Journey of Butterfly: The Legacy (#3998), and I Never Saw Another Butterfly (#7084). These awards will be given to exceptional music projects which help transform the lives of children or adults who are in special need.

To apply for an award, please send information about your project or organization, explaining the background, goals, and results of your musical endeavor, and how it has affected those involved. Please include any newspaper clippings, photos, video or audio, website, testimonial letters, community recognition, etc. that might help us better understand your program and its impact. Butterfly Awards will include Music in Motion gift certificates from $100 up to $1000, and The Metamorphosis of Music poster (#3755).
